Tuesday, August 25, 2020 - Thank you Jimmy, I loved this tonight! Another fabulous blt to celebrate Davids soon to be 60, my 65 and Jimmy's milestone 40. One of the things I love about Jimmy is his old soul combined with youthful energy and always good nature. Love Jimmy and his dad Leo! This wine was superb tonight and I'm kicking myself that I never bought any of these myself when for a short few years we could source them dirt cheap. We since lost our local distribution and the prices have soared beyond the reach of mere mortals. I'd also recently had an absolutely killer 06 Ruchottes on my birthday night with Nita. So this was singing tonight. Offering up forest floor, spice and dark fruit on the nose. The aromas carried through to a rich yet energetic palate where the fruit was sublime. Plenty of dark raspberry, mineral, licorice and more forest floor. Very Vosne and very very classy stuff. Thanks Jimmy!
