Thursday, January 15, 2015 - Thursday Night w/ Bob (My Place - Washington, DC): Tasted over the course of a few hours after it had been open for two days. Apparently it was quite intense upon opening, not surprising because it’s still mouthpuckering with its acid and tannin. Roses, tart cherries, hints of pickling spice on the nose. Palate of red and black cherries, lots of roses and rocky soil, hints of cola. A dusty but well-structured wine that I’d love to bury for five more years.
