Friday, November 2, 2012 - Opaque core with a mix of brick red & violet on the rim. The nose develops a strong anise note with some tobacco & darker fruit. Darker fruit on the entry before showing some leather & savory character through the mid palate. Medium bodied with good intensity. Some tartness on the back of the palate, but enveloped by the darker, more savory nature of this wine. Tannins create a drying finish.

A good entry point for LdH. Nowhere near the heights of the aged Bosconia and Tondonia, but as solid a Crianza as one can find.
