Wednesday, June 7, 2023 - 2008 red Burgs (Noize): Generously taken off the subs' bench to replace the undrinkable Corton. Lifted feeling to the nose, with some smoke and soft red fruit. Lean on the palate, as expected, but somehow also soft and giving; really nice to drink, with copious strawberry fruit and a savoury edge. I can find Montille reds a bit austere, but this was great.
