Sunday, November 20, 2016 - 3rd times a charm. 3 years does a lot to a bottle. Brooding light violet. Plastic-y nose with white pepper, game and herbs-de-provence. Unusual texture that is a bit "sticky"? maybe. Tannins are fat/dense and present but not drying. Dried meats. It's all starting to come together and work together. I like CDP and it's entering the window I appreciate. Probably will be fantastic in another year or so.
