Friday, July 11, 2014 - 1982 Bordeaux Tasting and Dinner (Sunset Ridge Country Club - Northfield IL): Very nicely matured Champagne with ripe apple and roasted nut aromas and flavors and lots of age appropriate Chardonnay character throughout. I'm not always a fan of aged Champagne, but this was easy to enjoy, although others might have enjoyed it even more tonight.
