Tuesday, April 16, 1991 - With MPL, BLR, Diane and Marne in celebration of Marne's 34th birthday at dinner at La Folie. Beautiful appearance. Golden straw color--and it's actually got legs! Thick ones! Beautiful tiny bead. Excellent chalky, yeasty nose is filled with character, and it jumps right out of the flute! Great. Rich, full-bodied palate. Creamy, lovely, just coats the tongue. Complex and lasts forever. Smooth, elegant finish. Very fine; one of the best I have ever had. 5-13-18-9: 95/100.
