Thursday, September 1, 2011 - We drank this 8/29/2011 along side the 2007 Sonoma Coast PN. This wine blew the 2007 away. Overall the wine had tremendous mouth feel, the fruit was mellowed but very rich and there was the wonderful earthiness that come to aged Pinot Noir. Great nose, essence of great Pinot Noir. Maybe this was just an especially good bottle, but I would rate 93. Drank with a rustic cook out but would have been killer with duck confit. I was worried this wine would be past it's prime. Wine was excellent, cork was pretty crumbly.
