Thursday, July 19, 2018 - Extremely fresh and slightly plump with Chardonnay fruit, but deliciously sour and intense. The relative ripeness at this age bespeaking the excellent exposure and lay of the MdT vineyard. An excellent bottle of 10-year-old 1er Cru Chablis with, I estimate, a decent stretch of lifespan still ahead. Good vineyard, good vigneron, good year, good wine.

Finished the last of it a few days later: still excellent. One of the best Chablis I've opened in a long time, along with 2002 Moreau Clos.
