Wednesday, August 20, 2014 - The cork practically crumbled and I thought it would be corked, but it was just fine. This wine has held up well. It was never about fruit but about structure. There is a real nice feeling of body with this wine independent of any fruit component that I liked. This is an age worthy wine that requires good cellaring to preserve cork integrity. I recommend this producer to anyone who wants to try a different elegant side of California chardonnay via Chablis.
