Saturday, September 15, 2018 - Ruby red. There is lots of leather, plum, red raspberries and mocha in the aromatic profile. On the palate, red fruits and earth are accompanied by a serious acidic streak, iron and bitter chocolate that lingers on the palate. This is a very nice, classic St. Emilion that squarely in its drinking window, where it should remain for the better part of a decade, if not longer. A terrific value at its $28 release price. 93.
