Tuesday, February 27, 2024 - Two hour decant but it wasn’t really needed. Although saving a glass for Day 2 is recommended. Like all Chave Hermitage, this one was effortlessly perfect. Never showy. Just so easy, comfortable, familiar. A powerful wine that’s exceedingly airy. Savory and acidic. Leather and cherries. So silky. Finish for days. Just such a treat.
