Friday, April 24, 2020 - This was a very nice wine in its prime on day #1 right out of the bottle - just a few minutes of air and it was singing. Really nice substantial mouthfeel yet glassy and weightless. Rich dark red fruit with juicy acidity and lots of fine grained tannins that added real energy to the finish. Some tobacco and cocoa powder on the finish. Got much less exciting on day #2. I think its time to drink up what you have while still has the verve to be exciting.
