Friday, March 14, 2008 - Cuvee Offline Dinner (Cuvee Restaurant, Napa, California): This was brought to the Napa offline at Cuvee on Monday by Pinot Envy. This was one of 3 1998 Burgundies that we drank over the course on my Napa trip and it was by far the best of the 3. The deepest and most complex of the 1998's this weekend. This wine had a great purity about it. It was elegant without being feminine. Notes of berry, black cherry and lightly oaked. Good round finish. 93-94 points.
