90 Points

Monday, March 1, 2010 - This wine was slightly corked, but not to the extent of being undrinkable. This fact aside, it was a gracefully aged Alsace riesling, revealing citrus fruit, white truffles, honey and petrol. Mid-full bodied with a beautiful combination of fruit, mineral and tertiary flavors, balanced by adequate acidity. Long finish. I bought these bottles at a bargain price, and fortunately I have 2 more so that I will (hopefully) be able to taste the wine without the flaw. I predict that it will score at least 1 point higher.
