Tuesday, May 28, 2013 - (tasted blind) Deep purple. Mint and black fruit. Very confected Christmas pudding note of maraschino cherry, sweet spice, vanilla and cream. In the mouth rich, creamy and spicy. Plenty of alcohol heat. Christmas cake again, lots going on. Toasted oak. Touches of coconut - though there is no dominant fruit profile there is plenty of fruit. Also, it's a little bit sickly - almost off dry? Good quality oak. Too much for me though. .
