Thursday, April 26, 2012 - Initially, lemon and sweet biscuit on the nose. Deepened with air to something more complex and interesting - added a bitter (in a good way) aroma/flavor reminiscient of apricot pit/cherry pit or that bitter almond taste you get when you chomp on an apple seed. With more time yet added another level -- an aroma of sweet white raisins. An intense and nervy wine that demands your attention (and sets your ears a-tingling). Wonderful quaffed by itself while the complex depth of flavors made it a great food pairing too. Will order more. 12% abv
