I opened it two hours before drinking and my initial impression was terrible. Earth is a nice element n wine but this opened like a glass of dirt. After 90 minutes thing started to round out. Three hours in there are hints of lovely red fruits and rose, but this remains a stern, elemental wine that is all intellectual and not very emotional. A confounding bottling. (90)
