Friday, January 2, 2015 - WEA portfolio tasting (Asia Grand): Another very pretty wine. Very floral and perfumy on the nose, most of us had this as Vosne/Chambolle. Red-fruited and minerally-infused, this was very well-balanced and elegant on the palate. When told it was a C-d-B wine, my guess shifted to Volnay. Was quite surprised when it was unveiled to be a Rugiens. My first JM Bouley and a good one!
