Saturday, January 9, 2016 - This is just stunning. I mean, this is everything I want in a Sancerre, and then some, because this has such richness to it as well. Creamy, lovely, sexy texture, but the acid is precise and crisp. Honey, salt, crushed shells, chalk, buttercream, almond skin, all on top of rich apple and pear fruit. Such verve, despite the richness. I'm not sure of the lees stirring or oak on this, but whatever is happening, it's firing for my palate. Adds to the package but doesn't distract from the freshness. Wow.
