  • Incredibly nice, but almost still holding back? Although there is not much restraint here, slight blackcurrant flower on the nose but mostly just wildly exotic fruits, this is one powerhouse of a wine. The acidity and particularly saline notes are spot on.

  • Used to drinking those crisp, bright sancerre's on the porch in the summer? Throw that notion out the door. This is sancerre on steroids...felt incredibly hedonistic, but was balanced, and downright thrilling. The aromas were a bouquet of pineapple, mango, peach, & roses. It had great balance with a seam of minerality down the middle. Hard to find this wine, so I was glad to get a couple sips.

  • Small taste at a gathering.
Awesome nose of tropical fruit, honey, citrus, little cream.
On the palate more citrus but also yellow apple, pineapple, honey, minerals, chalk, buttercream and still solid acidity.
Definitely seemed to see some new oak due to some of the notes, but a fantastic package all around.
An extraordinary wine to say the least.

  • This is just stunning. I mean, this is everything I want in a Sancerre, and then some, because this has such richness to it as well. Creamy, lovely, sexy texture, but the acid is precise and crisp. Honey, salt, crushed shells, chalk, buttercream, almond skin, all on top of rich apple and pear fruit. Such verve, despite the richness. I'm not sure of the lees stirring or oak on this, but whatever is happening, it's firing for my palate. Adds to the package but doesn't distract from the freshness. Wow.
