Monday, June 1, 2015 - WSET Diploma Graduation (Fix St. James, 111 Elizabeth Street, Sydney): Aromas of blackcurrant and plum, cream, vanilla, cedar then slight pencil shavings and tobacco notes. Very pleasant nose. On the palate cassis and slight plum flavours then spice and very slightly drying tannins on the medium plus length. This wasn't as austere or out of whack as I last remember it. Beginning to come together. Happy days.
