Tuesday, February 9, 2016 - Tasted blind. Bright ruby red color turning crimson at the rim with a transparent edge. It has an attractive nose of earth, smoke, black and red currants, tobacco, and meat. The palate is full-bodied but displays a delicate balance and texture. The aforementioned flavors are consistent all throughout. Finishes with nice, fleshy, refined tannin with a hint of spice. Drink now until 2023. 90+
