Monday, April 11, 2011 - No detailed notes. This one arrived today as part of a club shipment, and I opened it to see if a reorder was warranted. On the nose, dark red fruits on a fairly forward nose. On the palate, a bit tight at present, but seems to have the same general character as the '04 I enjoyed a few years back. I recall the '05 seeming even tighter. There's some pencil shavings in there, along with the slightest green note. I think this will be much better in 2 years when the fruit firms up. 92 points on potential, 90pts now for pop/pour drinking. Good value.
