Friday, April 23, 2010 - Deer garnet. Exquisite intense nose, leather, red fruit and sweet spice. In the mouth the tannins are still astringent, but the wine is still young, so presumably they will mellow down. Lots of spices, graphite and vegetality. Very beautiful wine with persistent aftertaste, oak is perceptible.
