Monday, January 19, 2015 - Chateau Pichon Baron Vertical with Jean-Rene Matignon (Ripple Restaurant in DC): Sweet black fruits, a hint of green, ash, lead pencil and mineral. Light to medium concentration, soft and round, polished and silky, mineral, nicely integrated tannins and medium finish. The fruit is ripe yet there is a hint of green. Although very enjoyable not terribly complex and feels a bit diluted.
