Saturday, July 23, 2011 - Vintage Champagne and Mixed Wines Offline (John and Erin's): Light gold color. Gorgeous column of tight tiny bubbles streaming upward from the center of the flute, spectacular to look at. Sadly though, while this was very good, it was no where near the bottle we raved about 3 months ago. The previous bottle was just on a completely different level (both were from different sources, the most recent from a local shop). The nose has light florals, biscuit, citrus, some earth, minerals. The palate is crisp, with citrus and some tropical fruit, lively, a touch bitter on the finish today.
