90 Points

Sunday, February 20, 2011 - Double decanted for 2.5 hrs. Served with Bison filet mignon and King crab
Colour: Dark brooding inky purple...typical LLC. Cork was just a shade off black. Plenty of sediment in bottle. Hand not visible through Glass
Nose: Fresh red berries...not giving up a lot though. Some mint and frsh leaves
Taste: Big mouth coating tannins do give way to a some fruit but clearly this wine is way too young. Has developed nicely since opening. Finish is a bit short less so than expected.
This wine has a way to go before maturing but it is very solid and well built.
