Saturday, January 4, 2020 - What a sleeper. Drinking so luxuriously right now. This 2002 Léoville Poyferré has come into its prime. The intoxicating aroma of anise and cedar follows through with palate staining depth. Silky smooth and saturated with black cherries, violets, and cigar box, the complexity and length are all on point. Enjoy now. There is some unfortunate bottle variation.
