Very curious to see what progress this is making. Be sure to give this at least a 2-3 hour decanting. Right out of the bottle, this was very closed and quite acidic. Once it opens though, it is gorgeous. Such a beautiful nose of ripe berries, flowers and sweet spice. Rich and complex, with layer upon layer of dark fruit flavor, leather, chocolate, and hints of coffee and citrus on the long, smooth finish. The tannins are so incredibly fine and polished. Yes, this is getting better - but taking its sweet time. I would say right now this is a 92 plus - almost, but not quite a 93. Hard not to drink now, but further patience is required here.
