Monday, September 17, 2012 - La Commanderie de Bordeaux à Vancouver - 2002 Horizontal (Blue Water Cafe): Medium red. Most complex nose yet with beautiful dark fruit, spice, licorice and red currants. Palate was equally as nice with plum and cherry fruit with powdery tannins, abundant and well balanced acidity and a long finish. This is really nice for the vintage and wine of the night for sure, even admitted by the Mouton haters. While very nice now, I’d give this 5 years. Excellent. 92+
