Saturday, December 21, 2013 - When first opened, was tight, out of balance and stand-alone tannins although the nose promised more to come. An hour later, it delivered as the flavors matched up to the nose. Grenache sweetness, light strawberry and kirsch, nicely balanced with moderate finish. A bit of garrigue in the nose, hint of flowers but could not quite grasp it. Lovely wine. Not one for the ages, but enjoyable.
