Sunday, September 22, 2013 - Dark purple color turning violet at the rim with a perfumed nose of black fruits, licorice and lavender. The palate is dense, creamy and velvety in texture with notes of dark cherry, currant, plum, fig and kirsch. The mid palate is sweetly intense and layered. Finishes long on silky tannin with hints of espresso and dark chocolate. This cruises on low acidity but so delicious and delectable that's approachable now yet structured to keep in the cellar for quite some time. Drink now with 1-hr decanting or better in 2014 until 2029.
