Friday, February 15, 2019 - Time to check in on this after about 2-3 years since my last bottle. Still pretty dark garnet color. Notes of mainly dark cherries, black currant, plums, kirsch, some roasted meat, graphite, also some licorice and provençal herbs. It's full-bodied and dense, the alcohol is slightly recognizable but not disturbing… this is CdP. Medium acidity and medium tannin add some structure. Long finish. This is entering its drinking window and will stay here for a few years. Very good and excellent value for top-notch CdP.
