Regardless - the nose is blackberry, cedar and a little bit of new leather. The wine is balanced, luscious and long. The prominent flavors were cassis, tobacco and a tiny bit of bakers chocolate. Had it over two nights - the first night the nose was a bit muted but the wine was open and vivid. Second night, the aromatics were off the chart but the wine had become a bit subdued. The lesson, I think, is to decant about 2 -3 hours. And finish it in one night!
