Sunday, July 20, 2014 - Giscours seems to be spot on, one of the wines of the vintage in 2003, this one is also highly enyoyable.
A bouquet of blackberries, cassis and cedar and still quite young for "10 years after". The wood is nicely integrated, and on the palate it is still demanding with the fine tannins giving it great structure. I come to believe that often the "great" vintages are to ripe for me, this is true Bordeaux and might merit an even higher score.
Will keep and enjoy my 10 remaining bottles for the next 2 decades.
