Meaty, full bodied mint and licorice nose and meaty body that delivers the promise of the aromatics. Balance is not pinpoint, but second only to te L-B. Not the best vintage of Ornellaia but still a truly outstanding wine. No it's not on the level of the L-B, and never will be, but it's opulent, hedonistic and a proper party animal.
