Monday, August 2, 2010 - Joyce and Gillian's Birthday soiree (Faber Lodge Function Room): Dark brooding, jumpy black fruits, spice and lots of brambles. Powdery fine tannins. A little awkward at this stage . Some leather and tar. Feels like any modern Bordeaux or possible to pass as a moderate new world cab blend too. Not impressionable.
