Sunday, November 20, 2011 - Decanter Sassicaia & Ornellaia Masterclass (Landmark Hotel London): Deep garnet with some faint brown on the rim. Deep nose with leathery, cedary, black olive and some farmyard aromas. A little different than the house style. Body is full and shows flavours of macerated fruit, sweet spice, saddle leather, spice, licorice and black olive. Flavours despite the body are somehow diluted for Ornellaia's standards. Medium + acidity.
