Thursday, November 30, 2017 - That was a great bottle of wine at its peak. A superb dark violet color and just from the opening very unctuous but not over the top. On the palate it just had such a rich presence of dark fruits, beautiful tannin integrated into the texture, and yet keeping the wine dignified, and just waves of aromas of fruits, earth, (not earthy) very suave, and would even say very sexy. Rich for sure, but it simply was marvelous with a great Bistecca Fiorentina. Sophisticated and yet superbly attractive wine. Yum!...
