Friday, October 19, 2007 - Uncorked DK BYO to NOMA: La Tâche 96 and fried eggs (NOMA): Very dark red. Mature red-brown berries, brown sugar, nail polish remover, toasted oak-like aromas. A bit closed, but cannot hide its greatness. In the mouth this just blows you away with its immense structure, fine tannins and mature fruit as well as minerality. It needs time, but with effort - swirling, gurgling etc... some of its stunning features can be forced out into the open. Best Barolo I've ever had.
