Sunday, December 5, 2010 - brambly fruit with cedar, mint, a certain meatiness - which might just be the flavour of the toasted oak which me in mind of bbqs - slight clove and plenty of ethanol on the nose. In the mouth acid - which, even though it is well balanced, has that slightly 'wrong' taste that I sometimes get which leads me to believe that it has been added and tannin around blackcurrant and sweet cedar and leather. Hints of pencil shavings. Fortunately I really like this.
