Tasted from a 50mL miniature bought in Porto. Was fairly good with some nice cherry fruit and slight signs of caramel type notes. Not as fresh or tannic/young-like as the Six Grapes and less concentrated as well. This is still a good product, even though I would choose the Six Grapes first. For me, behind Six Grapes, but ahead of the Grahams Fine Ruby. 86 or so.

Bottle is open for 24 hours, dark as ink, smells of black currant, dried strawberry, eucalyptus and a little bit of pepper, medium body, not very sweet, smooth in the mouth, not hot/spirituous, in the mouth dried strawberry, eucalyptus and pepper, in the aftertaste dried strawberry, pepper and acidity, good length (30 sec), a good ruby for the price, but nothing special.

It tasted like Ruby Port, I checked on the Wikipedia and it came out that it is indeed Ruby. Problem is that I do not like Ruby Port and this bottle was an endless disappointment. Quite clean, that's the only positive thing I feel I can say about it.

Deep red/purple at the rim - vegetal notes/spent tea leaves on the nose. Full bodied, good acidity and managed tannins - well constructed but the aromatics let it down.

Solid, plenty of deep red fruit, a bit one dimensional and a little hot on the fisnish but this was discounted in the supermarket and was good value for an entry level port.

Dark inky ruby red. The aromas are bright and concentrated, full of black fruits and tar. Full and dense with sweet fruit, a touch of wood and a decent finish.

Light fruity notes. Not much body but pleasantly sweet enough.

Super simple. Basic and tastes cheaper than it costs. A disappointment

Pleasant. Simple. Nice. Sweet. But no concentration or depth.

Rich, fruity and well balanced. Came out well ahead of Cockburn Ruby and Waitrose Tawny in our monthly tasting - June 2 2105.
