Light lemon gold. Lemon creme nose, the palate is kind of a mix, citrus, sweet peach, a little wood, marshmallow. In any case, things seem to have deviated from the pleasant chardonnay blend of previous presentations.

Fully mature, and frankly caught right before fading into oblivion, this showed a lovely light lemon and mineral character. Very pretty and well defined. Very Chablisesque.

This wine has matured nicely. Lime or grapefruit notes on the nose. On the palate, the acid has moderated a bit but is still medium+, with mild pear and apple flavors. Mouth-coating, full bodied, long finish. Have this with food, not on its own.

Herbal, grassy nose. Figgy, waxy, skunky kind of unpleasant. Does not have any of the citrus notes that make these Loire whites so enjoyable in general. Age?

This last bottle was nice, but lacked some of the intensity of flavor of the others I've had - seemed to lack quite enough fruit to balance the acidity as nicely as in the past.

Clear gold color. Light nose of wax and tart pear. More pear, ripe apple and some lemon for a very fresh palate. The finish is a little savory and very clean, nicely tart and mineral and of medium length. Very much enjoyed with sauteed char, interesting blend of chardonnay and sauvignon blanc.

Fantastic Loire SB and a great QPR. This has so much going on and is just delicious. Bonnie loves it, too, which is great. No complaints on my wine buying when she likes something this much.

Poured light golden with a brassy tint. Aromas of lemon chiffon, apricots, white flowers, and honey. Bright, buttery palate of lemons, apricots, pineapple, and honey with a vein of minerality throughout. Good weight with a lovely oily texture. Very good acidity keeps this bright across the palate thru to the med length finish. Excellent on its own but even better with grilled shrimp. Great value!

Similar impression to the first bottle. Just a really nice wine for the price. Lemon, flowers, stone fruit, great acidity, good finish. Can't ask for more. One point lower than last time in that as the bottle warmed a little, it became a bit flabby; definitely best with a slight chill.

Really delicious bottle of wine. Smells and tastes of lemon, white flowers, and some apricot, with good acidity, and nice finish. Has some weight and viscosity to it at first, but became a bit leaner with air.

For one of every 4-5 Loire bottles that I get from Garagiste, I end up regretting not buying a case. This is one of those. What a fantastic expression of SB. Light straw color. Beautiful complex nose of white flowers. Light and crisp palate, which delivers a surprising depth of white fruits (cherries, quince) and lively acidity. Excellent minerality, which really comes forth with a couple of hours of air as the wine appears to shed some of its baby fat. I can drink this all summer long.

Wow.....simply lovely. A lemon grass flavor. light color. Very well made. Not too tart or to sweet. slight apple taste to compliment the lemon. This is an excellent alternative to the everyday white. Had it with fish and it was perfect. For the money, very hard to beat.

The wine looks Light gold colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Lemon and grass. It tastes like and Lemon with some honey in the background. Good body and nice finish, I would say its an all around every day wine and on a hot summer day great for the beach.

Didn't use the whole bottle in the sauce, so took the opportunity to check out an oldish chard-SB blend.
Surprisingly fresh, acidity is clearly on the decline, but is still an enjoyable aperitif

Very nice chardonnay blend, perhaps more savory and less tart than previous.

Nose of rock and white peach. Flavors are and interesting mix of upfront zippy lemon but a mid-palate of white peach. Long, lemony finish. Very good.

Delicious wine. Pillar of lime & granite. Stood up perfectly to spicy Asian cuisine.
