Very strong impression of a chalky, mineral driven wine that delivered decent and complex cherry fruit. Very fine grained tannin building an elegant structure. Balanced in all ways and much more elegant than a lot of Châteauneuf du Pape bottlings. Great!

A tour of Spain (Berry Bros, London): initially slight cork taint/oxidised. Medium minus aromas of ripe red berries, cream and spice and slight leather. In the mouth there are concentrated flavours of red berries and spice, medium plus body and medium acidity that is juicy. Overall there is an impression of richness. very nice for what it is.

Appearance: Clear, deep purple colour with paler rims and legs Nose: Clean, medium (+) intensity and developing aromas of raspberry, red cherry, vanilla, mint and sweet spice. Palate: Dry with medium and lively acidity. Medium tannin with smooth texture. Medium (+) alcohol and medium (+) body, with medium intensity flavors of mint, red cherry, raspberry, sweet spice, vanilla and oak. Medium (+) length. Conclusion: Good quality Garnacha with a strong nose of ripe fruit, a reasonable complexity and a long length. Definitely a value for money buy. Ready to drink now but can further develop for another 2-3 years.

Vanilla, berry, full on the initial taste, then mellows. Nice tannin but would drink in the year

Delicious right now. Peppery, soft. Was wonderful with salmon, risotto and a lemony salad dressing.

Quality grenache, approachable and enjoyble now, but has long way to go still...
