The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are fast. There was some sediment in the bottle. The nose was a bit weak. It tastes like cherry. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Licorice and wood/forest notes come through so slightly spicy. More body than some other Merlots. Not much of a bouquet though. Flavour was better after being open for half an hour and warming to room temperature.

Maybe 88 - not worth 30$ CAN for this...as my fellow canadian has stated below...Dark and rich nose of berry fruit. Palate is medium to full bodied with light acid and smooth tannin. Some woodsy oak in the background of dark cherry/berry fruit. Finish is long and has same qualities...oak is in balance and decent effort overall. Won the WA awards, or scored highly...can't recall, but needed to try it. For 10$ less and same style, look to SA for some malbecs or Spain for some nice Rioja's.

Great value! Deep maroon color. Complex nose with strong cherry favors and hints of leather, tobacco, mint and roasted cashews. Great accompaniment to Thai food.

This was tasty no doubt, but a bit disjointed and not worth $25 Can - Dark, full bodied with a nose of plum, cherry, blackfruit, chocolate, mocha and vanilla, big, a bit out of balance, structurally sound, but a bit strange without tannin but with acidity, smooth on the palate with good length (85 Points).

Berry and very light cassis on the nose. Wonderfully silky palate with very light tannin and a very delectable dark cherry and cola finish. A marvelous wine for the price.

Pop n' pour. Light, bright ruby color, 75% opaque. Timid nose with simple red currant, sage, and a youthful green streak. Palate is vibrant and reveals a nicely concentrated berry and red delicious apple note with some light oak bouquet leading into the finish. Good acidity and light, austere tannins. Short - medium finish. My bet is it will drink better in another year but it's not really an ager. 5+8+14+7 = 84

Took to the Corkscrew. Was a great tasting Merlot. Stood the test of time.

Past its time. Not oxidized but just fat and lifeless. Too bad

Very good. Deep purple color. Alcohol on the nose. Flat grape and alcohol flavor. Kind of disappointing compared to my previous experiences...

Delicious. Just what a merlot should be. Enjoyed with a chargrilled ribeye and it held up just as well as a cab! Let's do this again...
