Pale color. Tasted. Sweet nose, typical NZ SB aromas, very grapefruit driven; the palate has the same grapefruit, a healthy dose of cat pee, carbonated. If you really like NZ SB, and are looking for a sparkling SB go for it. Not for me.

This sparkling Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand pours a very pale yellow with aromas of tropical fruits and freshly cut grass. The flavors follow the nose, with the tropical fruits, predominantly papaya, taking center stage. The body is relatively full for a Sauvignon Blanc, but the fine bubbles help to keep it from getting flabby. It's clean and thankfully avoids any sort of a cat pee note; a nice change of pace for $15. Sealed with a crown cap. Would be great for sipping on the porch on a hot day.

It's sparkling Sauvignon Blanc. That's about it. And not an interesting one either - no real zip or vivacity or distinctiveness. A clean, pleasantly sparkling, refreshing, completely characterless wine. 13%, $16.

Starts out with papaya and old cut grass with the addition of bell pepper and herbs over time. Very strong aroma and flavor. Better quality bubbles would put this wine over 90 points for me.

Drank with my girlfriend to celebrate her new apartment. Also my first wine in two weeks.
Classic tropical fruits and citrus: grapefruit, orange, passionfruit, and gooseberry, with chalky minerality and hints of buttery biscuit.
The tiniest bit of effervescence was a bit disappointing. The name promised something with a little more fizz. Nevertheless, bright acidity, hints of green herbs, and currant/green grape flavors make this crisp and very refreshing. Finishes with grapefruit and chalk.
A good example of NZ Sauvignon Blanc. I was not disappointed.

The Cracklin’ Savie is like no other wine right down to the packaging. The wine is made from premium Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grapes that have been carefully selected to best work with a Crackle. The packaging is a clear MethodeTraditionelle bottle so you can see the clarity of the wine and the bottle is topped with a funky reusable cork to represent a fun innovative on the go wine. The aroma and flavour characters of this medium bodied wine jump from the glass and include freshly opened passionfruit, crushed blackcurrants and gooseberry which are all enhanced by the crackle.

I am not in love but my wife and daughter enjoyed. Bubbly and on the fun side but wears on me.

Really interesting sparkling wine. All the zestiness of Sauvignon Blanc but with bubbles.
