Very nice QPR. Quite light for a chard. Would not confuse it with a CA wine. Light straw color. Very green on the nose. Citrus and green apple on the palate. Good acidity. Good weeknight drinker.

Tasted at Hunter Valley cellar door; contrast to my previous tasting in SA; this bottle was described as limited release, had a nice somewhat oaked nose but could have done with more fruit. Questions arise about consistency of batches

Bright, limpid in glass. Fresh intense fruit bouquet. Light crisp style presents harmonious apple/melon flavours. long. New initiative for R - to be encouraged

Three days in the Hunter Valley, 13 Cellar Doors, 115 wines; 2/24/2011-2/26/2011 (Hunter Valley, Australia): Really harsh butter and acid on the nose. The palate is similar, but lighter in flavor. Spiced acid and apple on the finish. Bitter again. Not enjoyable.
