  • Dark red with slightly brownish rim. Open nose of barnyard, with blackcurrant and hint of eucalypthus and olives. Soft, fruity palate. Bordeaux-like but more fruity. Still some tannins left. Fabulous wine. My last bottle. Have not found any more of these after 2006.

  • Attractive Bordeaux like aromas with black olives, stable and some etheral notes. Has developed well, and has a nice balance between fruit, tannins and acidity. A bargain!

  • Dark red with brownish rim. Leather and black olives on the nose. Reminds about a Bordeaux, and then closest to a Graves. Fullbodied, and tannic, typical for 2006. Fruitier than a Bordeaux. Leave the next bottle for a couple of years. Very good for the price.

  • Slightly cloudy but still transparent with a dar rubyred colour and a slight orange edge. On the nose some funk: dirt, compost and decaying fruit. Overripe pears or fallen apples decomposing on the lawn. Underneath this putrid splendor there is a dark, slightly drying fruit. With air there is a noticable change in character. The fruit gets cleaner and eventually even elegant. To the fore the typical cabernet notes of black currant leaves, some plum an a hint of green bell pepper on top of a whif of cedar. Also some vanilla from the casks. On the palpate things evolve along similar lines. There are also som tannins, but fairly soft and easy and one could also wish for a bit more bite to the acids, but the fruit is of good quality and ther is also some anis seed and a hint of bloody ironfilings. Soft finish og medium lenght. A blend of 40% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
