While the firm grip (Seattle metropolitan review) is gentler now, the wine still says ‘hello’ on the nose and palate. The wine presented with a bit reduced, with plenty of CF aromatics and a bit of jam at the end. Thanks John for both your amazing wines, your generous hospitality and the great memories.

Really nice bordeaux blend. Sweet tannins and lots of fruit going on. Everything well integrated and firing on all cylinders. Give this at least an hour to open up. Delicious.

Popped and poured a taste. Started with mixed reviews as strong tannins clouded a well constructed wine. An hour in - the wine showed currant, dark berries and a long balanced finish. Will continue with one bottle/ year to see how this improves.

This is a great bottle of wine already and probably has some room to improve with a few more years in bottle. Full bodied, lots of fruit but with enough acidity to keep it well balanced, long finish. Can't wait to open a few more of these in a couple of years.

Wow. Had this in a tasting with 94 Silver Oak Napa, Corliss and Plumpjack. It was the winner--- deep, intense and amazingly full bodied with Bourdeaux flavors popping everywhere. Corliss was a close 2nd.

Another excellent vintage from Ramseyer. Drank after a long hot day drinking lots of beer, as such, conditions to discern the details were less than optimal. That said, the wine was well balanced, delicious, and left one wanting more. At a price in the low 40s, this is one vineyard to sign-up for the annual allocation, as its the only way one can get the wine. I will return with a more detailed review in the near future.

This is an amazing wine...young, but complex. GREAT nose and deep fruit that lingers just right.
